Born in Fort Collins, Colorado, 12 Cents For Marvin is a horn-driven ska-infused rock band formed in 1996 by CSU students. Over the years, they’ve built a reputation for energetic live shows and a horn-forward sound that nods to The Specials, Fishbone, Reel Big Fish, No Doubt, and Sublime. The lineup has included Tom Werge, Hilary Freeman, Sean Jaster, Nik Levinsky, Soren Daugaard, Phuong Nguyen, Greta Cornett, and John Giordanengo, all contributing to a tight, high-spirited sonic identity.
