The 4th Annual Rhythm & Soul of a People brings together powerful dance and music performances as part of The Black Academy of Arts and Letters' 2007–2008 season. Produced by Curtis King, founder of TBAAL, this weekend festival showcases celebrated Black dance companies and performances set to soulful, iconic music, including pieces inspired by Nina Simone. Held at the Naomi Bruton Theater in Dallas, TX, this event is a cornerstone of Dallas' vibrant arts scene and a must-see for lovers of rhythm, soul, and cultural artistry.
