4th Ave emerged in 2018 after members Camry Jackson, Jaden Gray, Marcus Pendleton, and Mikey Jimenez competed on ABC’s Boy Band. The group quickly embraced the momentum, releasing their debut single XOXO on February 8, 2018, followed by other early drops like All I Do, Gravity, and So Close in 2018. They established their identity with a blend of contemporary pop and R&B sensibilities, characterized by strong vocal harmonies and relatable storytelling.
Across 2018 and 2019, 4th Ave released multiple EPs—Initiation (2018), Winter Break (2018), and Detour (2019)—under the umbrella of 4th Ave Music, BASSic Black Ent., and Rosenberg Records. On the live circuit, 4th Ave launched The Initiation Tour (2018) and the Worldwide Summer Tour (2019), expanding their footprint beyond the studio.
