5 Soldiers, created and choreographed by Rosie Kay, is a powerful contemporary dance theatre work that examines the human body in wartime. The piece, originally premiered in 2010–11 with revivals in 2015–16 and 2016–17, has captivated audiences across the UK, including a national tour that featured Army venues and a standout run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2017. Presented by Rosie Kay Dance Company (RKDC) in collaboration with K2CO materials, 5 Soldiers continues to influence contemporary dance through site-specific performances and thoughtful explorations of resilience, vulnerability, and memory.
