Biography
5 Star Dance Academy was founded by Anatolie and Astrid Chiochiu, two dancers with almost 30 years of international teaching and performance experience. The duo has represented Australia on global stages, serving in roles from Company Manager to Soloist and Lead Adagio Act. Their leadership emphasizes technical excellence, artistry, and versatility across multiple genres. An important member of the extended family is Annika Chiochiu, who performed on a 2017 USA Disneyland Tour as part of the academy’s extended performance network. The studio is known for cultivating strong technique across Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contortion, Acrobatics, Contemporary, Ballroom, Lifting, Boys Zone, Performance Groups, and more, ensuring that students receive a well-rounded, professional preparation for stage and screen.
