9th District is a pivotal name in Russian rock, formed in 1991 in Krasnoyarsk by Aleksey Nikitin. The band became a regional icon through a string of impactful albums in the 1990s and 2000s, earning a dedicated following across Russia. After the passing of lead vocalist Aleksey Nikitin in 2014, Денис Комович stepped in as the vocalist, keeping the band active on tour and in the studio.
