A Bandhouse Gig is a DC-area collaborative tribute collective founded in 2004 by Ronnie Newmyer and Chuck Sullivan. What started as a handful of musicians has evolved into large-scale productions featuring 40+ performers and a rotating lineup of DC-area vocalists and instrumentalists. The group focuses on community and musical exploration, delivering powerful tributes across decades and genres while supporting the Washington, DC live music scene.

Over the years, BandHouse Gigs has produced acclaimed tribute projects spanning Joni Mitchell, the British Invasion, Elvis Costello, XTC, the Rolling Stones, Chrissie Hynde, and George Harrison. Their albums capture the energy of live collaborative performances and have earned regional recognition, including multiple Washington Area Music Awards (Wammies). The Joni Mitchell tribute won Best Pop Rock Recording in 2010, and a 2013 Wammie honored the Nick Lowe tribute, underscoring the group’s ability to elevate beloved songbooks with fresh interpretations.
