About the artist: A Fairytale Gathering is created by Emily Hartka, a UVA alumna and Charlottesville Ballet Co-Founder who continues to lead and inspire within the arts community. Hartka’s leadership role extends through her participation in Lead Virginia’s 2025 class, highlighting a commitment to arts advocacy and community impact.
