Rivertree Singers brings a season of sacred and seasonal choral music with A Rivertree Christmas, a celebrated live-recording project that captures the warmth and community spirit of Greenville, South Carolina. Founded in 2010 by artistic director Warren Cook, Rivertree Singers is a central pillar of the region’s cultural life, known for its expressive performances and collaborative spirit.

What reaches the room
On December 19, 2019, the live-recorded digital album A Rivertree Christmas captured a Christmas-season concert at Furman University’s Daniel Chapel, delivering a 57-minute program that has become a treasured part of the ensemble’s catalog. The group frequently performs works such as Lux: The Dawn from on High (2018) and Requiem for the Living (2014) as part of its Rivertree Singers & Friends Festival, highlighting the ensemble’s range from intimate carols to expansive choral works.

Looking ahead, Rivertree Singers’ 2025-26 season will feature A Rivertree Christmas on December 15, 2025 at Daniel Chapel, Furman University, and December 19, 2025 at the Gunter Theatre, Peace Center, continuing Rivertree’s tradition of community connection through live performance.
