A Rock School Scholarship Fund (RSSF) is the United States’ first 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to funding rock-music education for youths ages 7–17 and helping families access rock schools nationwide. Founded by Wendy Winks (Executive Director) and Carl Restivo, RSSF received IRS approval as a public charity in 2010, with the first fundraiser held the same year. The organization supports tuition assistance and the provision of musical instruments through scholarships, partnering with more than 120 schools across 28 states. RSSF aims to make rock education more accessible, stepping in to bridge financial gaps that can make private tuition prohibitive.
