MOJO’s roots trace back to the Permian High School band program founded in 1959, and since then the ensemble has built a legacy of performance excellence, including a dominant UIL presence with 57 division-one ratings and a Texas State Marching Band Championship in 1982. The group has also been featured at prestigious events and clinics, like the Midwest Band & Orchestra Clinic in 2008, showcasing the program’s commitment to artistry and education.
