Aba Shanti-i is a cornerstone of the global dub and reggae sound system scene. A Notting Hill Carnival resident since 1993, Aba Shanti-i became a defining voice in the late 20th and early 21st centuries, earning recognition as DJ Magazine's No.1 DJ in 1993. As the founder of Falasha Recordings, Aba Shanti-i bridged classic roots with contemporary productions, starting with the seminal Tear Down Babylon (1993).
