The Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC) is the global benchmark for no-gi submission grappling. Founded in 1998 by Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with leadership and day-to-day operations guided by Nelson Monteiro, ADCC has grown into a worldwide community of athletes who compete under neutral grappling rules that level the playing field across jiu-jitsu, judo, wrestling, and other grappling arts. The World Submission Championship is widely regarded as the sport’s pinnacle, drawing competitors from around the globe to test strategy, technique, and stamina.
