Adrienne Young is a Tallahassee-born, Belmont-educated musician whose career began with the formation of Little Sadie and later AddieBelle Music. She rose to prominence after winning the Chris Austin songwriting contest in 2003 for Sadie’s Song at MerleFest, a breakthrough moment that highlighted her blend of bluegrass, country, old-time, and American folk with crossover appeal. Known for her clawhammer banjo and a traditionalist yet contemporary approach, Adrienne crafts songs that feel timeless while staying fresh in today’s roots music landscape.
