Aether Realm formed in 2010 in Greenville, NC, and quickly carved out a niche by fusing melodic death metal with folk influences and symphonic elements. Their sound is defined by dynamic guitar work, bold melodies, and orchestral textures that escalate from intimate folk motifs to bombastic metal crescendos. In 2018, Napalm Records signed the band, paving the way for broader international exposure. Their 2020 release Redneck Vikings from Hell achieved notable recognition, peaking at #16 on the US Top New Artist Albums chart. The album was followed by the 2020 reissue of Tarot from Napalm Records, which included added material. Earlier works include One Chosen by the Gods (2013).
