Agents of Time is a pioneering Italian electronic act renowned for evolving melodic techno and expansive sonic textures. From the debut album Spread The Word (2014) on Stem Records to later releases on Ellum Audio, Obscura, and Curle/Correspondant, Agents of Time has consistently pushed the boundaries of club-oriented techno. The 2022 album Universo on Kompakt showcased a broad, textural shift toward melodic techno, strengthened by guest vocals and collaborations that helped elevate the duo’s profile on Afterlife and Kompakt’s platforms. In 2023, they launched Time Machine, an imprint signaling a move toward greater artistic control with Zodiac as its inaugural release.
