Originating in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Aids Wolf formed in 2003 when Chloe Lum (Special Deluxe) teamed up with Yannick Desranleau (Hiroshima Thunder). Known for chaotic, improvised performances that fuse modified electronics and unconventional instruments, the duo carved out a distinctive space in the noise rock and no wave scenes. Although they have been inactive since around 2012, Aids Wolf left a lasting impact on the avant-garde music landscape and remains a point of reference for fans of experimental sound.
