Alaria’s history includes distinguished commissions and premieres, such as the Alaria piano trio by Peter Schickele (2011), For Alaria by Eric Ewazen (2022), and Piano Trio No. 3 The Alaria by Steven Christopher Sacco (2024). The ensemble also earned recognition with the Goberman Prize for Young Composers during its Mannes School of Music years (2007–2012). In 2025, they released Kaya Songs, a CD featuring Alaria artists Tzu-En Lee and David Oei with composer Steven Christopher Sacco (The Hill Studio, released Oct 15, 2025). The 2025 concert season features a performance on December 7 at Weill Hall, Carnegie Hall, highlighting Kaya Songs alongside Mozart, Debussy, and Dohnányi.
