Alaska Dance Theatre Tickets

Alaska Dance Theatre (ADT) has been a cornerstone of Anchorage’s dance community since 1981. As the premier nonprofit dance organization in Alaska, ADT trains dancers in classical ballet techniques drawn from Russian, French, and Italian schools (Vaganova & Cecchetti) while offering a diverse range of styles including contemporary, hip-hop, jazz/broadway, modern, and tap. Governed by a dedicated volunteer board, ADT combines rigorous training with captivating performances that showcase local talent on Alaska’s stage.

ADT performs across multiple venues in Anchorage, from its own Black Box Theatre on-site to the Discovery Theatre (Alaska Center for the Performing Arts), and collaborates with the Anchorage Concert Association for major productions. This season brings student showcases, winter shows, and large-scale collaborations that highlight the growth of ADT’s dancers and the community’s love for live performance.

Upcoming ADT engagements include the 2025-2026 Season (August 18, 2025 – May 2, 2026), featuring student showcases and the Winter Show at Discovery Theatre. The 2025 Nutcracker, a Eugene Ballet production, will bring magic to Atwood Concert Hall in Anchorage (November 28–30, 2025), with Alaska dancers coordinated by ADT. ADT’s annual Alaskan Holiday / Winter Show also lights up Discovery Theatre (December 12–13, 2025). ADT is supported by the Alaska State Council on the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Municipality of Anchorage, the Atwood Foundation, and the Block Foundation.
