Alexia Bomtempo’s career launched with Astrolábio (2009) on EMI Brazil, a collection that introduced her Brazilian roots to diverse audiences. Her subsequent English-language project I Just Happen to Be Here (2012) on Biscoito Fino paid homage to Caetano Veloso, demonstrating her ability to reinterpret classic Brazilian literature through contemporary phrasing.
