Alireza Assar is a prominent figure in Persian pop music, blending melodic storytelling with contemporary production. Born January 24, 1970 in Tehran, Iran, he launched his pop career in 1997 and released his debut album Kooch-e Asheghaneh in 1999, featuring the enduring hit Ghodsiane Aseman. Over the years, he has collaborated on ambitious projects, including a Persian pop venture with Shahrdad Rohani and the London Symphony Orchestra for Open Secret, recorded at Abbey Road. His live milestones include a landmark January 2016 comeback concert that sold over 20,000 tickets. In recent years, Alireza has continued to release singles such as Afarin (2024) and Farari and Daryaye Teshneh (2025).
