Event details: Doors open at 9:00 AM on February 2, 2026, at the James Kjerstad Event Center, Central States Fairgrounds, Rapid City, SD 57701. Highlights include the Sheep Dog Trials preliminary round at 10:00 AM, Mutton Bustin' at 6:30 PM, and the Sheep Dog Trials Finals at 7:00 PM. Tickets are the best available price for adults (advance) or the best available price day-of, the best available price for youth (7-12), and free for ages 6 and under. Tickets go on sale December 1. All American Sheep Day is presented as part of the BHSS ecosystem, which also features education, demonstrations, and industry exhibits throughout the fairgrounds.
