Discover Amanda Brown, a versatile violinist and composer with a storied career spanning indie rock, film and television soundtracks, and solo projects. A former Go-Betweens violinist, Brown contributed to the albums Tallulah (1987) and 16 Lovers Lane (1988). She released her first solo album, Eight Guitars, in 2023, featuring a different guest guitarist on every track. Brown is also a prolific screen composer, with soundtrack work for Babyteeth, The Family, The Secrets She Keeps, Quilty: Painting the Shadows, and Incognita. Her early work includes Cleopatra Wong (Egg, 1992; Cleopatra's Lament, 1993) in collaboration with Lindy Morrison.
