Amanda Rheaume is a celebrated Métis Nation of Ontario singer-songwriter known for weaving heartland rock with powerful Indigenous storytelling. A veteran of the Canadian folk scene, she has released 11 albums spanning independent beginnings to her latest work, The Truth We Hold (2025) on Ishkōdé Records, which she co-founded to strengthen Indigenous music infrastructure. Amanda’s work has earned multiple honors, including the 2024 Spirit of Folk Award and the 2023 Canadian Folk Music Award for Indigenous Songwriter of the Year. Her music blends personal and historical narratives, drawing listeners into vivid landscapes of resilience, community, and cultural pride.
