Biography

• Origins: Founded in 1988 as The Orchestra of Sandy, the ensemble evolved into the American West Symphony & Chorus of Sandy, reflecting a broader mission to serve the Salt Lake Valley with robust orchestral and choral programming.
• Mission: A volunteer organization dedicated to education and entertainment, delivering 14 concerts per season across a mix of classical masterworks, choral works, and light-to-full pops repertoire.
