Amira Dance Production (ADP) is one of Wichita’s long-standing community dance studios, founded in 1974 by Alice Castilow, who performed as Amira. From its modest beginnings, ADP has grown into a vibrant hub for world dance, movement education, and community performances. Located at 1702 W Douglas Ave in Wichita, ADP has contributed to the city’s cultural landscape by co-founding the Metropolitan Ballet of Wichita and offering a diverse range of dance styles.

In addition to belt- and rhythm-driven performances, ADP hosts large-scale productions such as Dance Odyssey, which have illuminated venues around Wichita like Crown Uptown Theatre. Their repertoire includes belly dance and variants, East Indian, Polynesian, Bollywood, ballroom, and even hula hooping, as well as a Middle Eastern drumming class.
