The live experience
What reaches the room
An American Celebration of Grandmother Earth is a commemorative stage experience rooted in Lakota traditions, storytelling, and the rich artistry of Indigenous musicians. Historically anchored by Kevin Locke, a celebrated Lakota hoop dancer and North American Indigenous flute player, the project honors cultural heritage, education, and living history. Though live performances have paused since Locke’s passing in 2022, the lineage and works continue to inspire audiences who seek authentic Indigenous artistry and education through music, dance, and storytelling.
