Founded in 2004 by Ananya Chatterjea, Ananya Dance Theatre (ADT) is a leading contemporary Indian dance company that blends traditional movement with bold, modern storytelling. Under Chatterjea’s artistic direction, ADT develops the Yorchhā vocabulary—an expressive fusion of Odissi, Chhau martial movement, and yoga—to create powerful, socially engaged performances.
