Andrew Hadro is a New York City-based baritone saxophonist and woodwind specialist known for his expressive tone and versatile playing across reeds, bass clarinet, and flute. As a bandleader, Hadro helms the project For Us, The Living, releasing a trilogy of albums that blends modern jazz with thoughtful improvisation. His 2025 solo Winds project, ArchMusic, on Ravello Records, showcases an expansive approach to contemporary winds repertoire. In addition to leading his own groups, Hadro has contributed as a sideman to high-profile projects, including the Grammy-winning Bianca Reimagined with Dan Pugach Big Band. Hadro remains an active presence on the New York scene, performing as a sideman and leader with a busy itinerary of tours and festival appearances.
