The live experience
What reaches the room
Andy Warhol's Tomato is a compelling performer whose work fuses theatre, narrative, and a spirit of experimentation. Written by Vince Melocchi and commissioned by Pacific Resident Theatre, this show has risen from Los Angeles and Chicago stages to resonate in Pittsburgh’s cultural landscape before arriving at venues across the U.S. The production follows an 18-year-old Andy Warhol at Carnegie Tech in 1946, charting an unlikely friendship in a working-class bar and inviting audiences to glimpse the early spark that would shape a legendary icon.
