Animal Prince is an Oakland-based musical collaboration between singer/violinist Fae Nageon de Lestang and drummer/percussionist Grant McLeod. Since forming, the duo has carved out a sound that sits at the crossroads of retro-pop, AM Gold shimmer, yacht-rock, and orchestral pop. Much of their debut work was crafted in their geodesic-dome home in Oakland, giving their records a warm, intimate vibe that fans describe as feel-good and transportive.

The project released Have Good Dreams in 2024 on Animal Prince Records and through self-release via Bandcamp, expanding on the duo’s earlier work, Liquid Sights and Sounds (2021). Their music invites listeners to unwind, dream, and hum along to memorable melodies and lush arrangements.
