Based around three-day anime conventions that celebrate anime, video games, comics, and pop culture, Anime-Zap brings energetic performances to the Embassy Suites by Hilton East Peoria Riverfront Hotel & Conference Center in East Peoria, Illinois. Each year, AnimeCon.org welcomes over 1,000 attendees to events featuring autograph signings, grand cosplay contests, panels, gaming, karaoke, and live concerts. The 2025 edition runs January 3–5, 2025; 2026 runs January 9–11, 2026; and 2027 runs January 8–10, 2027 — all hosted at the same East Peoria venue.
