The Annapolis Chorale is a cornerstone of Annapolis’ vibrant concert scene. Founded in 1974 as The Annapolis Chorale, the ensemble is a core resident of Live Arts Maryland in Annapolis and draws a diverse chorus of roughly 150 singers from Anne Arundel County and surrounding areas. Since 1985, Artistic Director J. Ernest Green has led the chorus, shaping a sound that embraces classical masterworks, opera and Broadway favorites, and contemporary choral pieces. The Chorale regularly collaborates with the Annapolis Chamber Orchestra, delivering choral-orchestral performances across the region.

Upcoming 2025 season highlights include Music of the Spheres on November 15, 2025 at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts (Illuminare by Elaine Hagenberg, plus works by Esenvalds and Arnesen); Celebration of Christmas on December 12, 2025 at Maryland Hall; and Handel's Messiah on December 20–21, 2025 at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church. Messiah performances are produced with Live Arts Maryland and the Annapolis Chamber Orchestra.
