Anne Enslow is a renowned educator and performer celebrated for bringing early American repertoire to life through intimate, historically informed performances on the hammered dulcimer and violin. As part of a longtime duo with Ridley Enslow, she has carved a niche in storytelling through music, blending rigorous historical research with engaging performance skills. Her Broadway debut on the hammered dulcimer in The Secret Garden (1992–1993) marked the start of a lifelong devotion to American music—from colonial tunes to Civil War ballads and Christmas carols.
