The documented stage experience
Annoyance Theatre has been a cornerstone of Chicago's indie comedy scene since 1987, founded by Mick Napier. Known for nurturing bold voices and innovative performances, The Annoyance operates two intimate performance spaces at 851 W Belmont Ave in the Belmont/Lakeview neighborhood, offering a dynamic mix of improv, sketch, original musicals, and classroom programs. The venue is famous for hosting Chicago’s longest-running musical, Co-Ed Prison Sluts, and serving as a training ground for performers who go on to shape the national comedy landscape.
