Arion Baroque Orchestra, founded in 1981 in Montreal, is a leading ensemble dedicated to Baroque and Classical repertoire performed on period instruments. Initially formed by Claire Guimond, Chantal Rémillard, Betsy MacMillan, and Hank Knox, the group is now guided by artistic director Mathieu Lussier (since 2019). With a collaborative approach that frequently features guest conductors and soloists, Arion presents refined concerts across Canada and beyond, earning multiple awards and critical acclaim along the way.
