Arizona School for the Arts (ASA) is a public charter school in downtown Phoenix serving grades 5–12 with a dedicated two-hour daily performing arts focus across music, theatre, and dance. Founded in 1995 by Dr. Mark Francis, ASA has earned national recognition, including a Blue Ribbon school designation in 2005 for academic excellence. ASA blends rigorous academics with an inclusive performing arts curriculum, offering students real opportunities to perform on campus and in collaborations with local venues like The Nash.
