Arthur Greene is a distinguished pianist known for his deep interpretation of Scriabin and his collaborative projects. A Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition gold medalist (1978) and prize-winner at the William Kapell and Busoni Competitions, Greene has built a career on thoughtful artistry, rigorous technique, and a commitment to diverse repertoire. He is particularly celebrated for his Scriabin performance cycles and for recording the complete Scriabin Etudes with Supraphon, as well as acclaimed violin-piano sonata albums with Solomia Soroka for Naxos and TOCC. In recent years, his project with Solomia Soroka and Phillip Silver culminated in the 2025 release Lost American Violin Sonatas, Volume One on Toccata Classics, highlighting Ukrainian-American repertoire and broader American violin works.
