Asheville StorySLAM brings the art of live storytelling to the heart of Asheville, North Carolina. Hosted by The Moth, this open-mic format invites local voices to share five-minute, note-free stories that are judged by the audience. Themes rotate each show, offering fresh prompts like ONLY IN ASHEVILLE, BEEF, HOSPITALITY, BLOOM, CHILDISH, SUS, and LOVE HURTS. The series takes place at intimate venues around the city, including The Grey Eagle Music Hall and, in some years, the Diana Wortham Theatre for GrandSLAM events.
