ASU Concert Band Tickets

The ASU Concert Band is a cornerstone of Arizona State University's Wind Bands program, a 90-member ensemble co-directed in 2017 by Melanie Brooks. Based on the Tempe campus, the group performs regularly in the Phoenix area and prioritizes education and community engagement. Through collaborations with local organizations and commissions, the band contributes to a vibrant musical landscape in the Valley.

As part of ASU’s broader Wind Bands family—which includes the Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony, Maroon and Gold Band, and Philharmonia—the Concert Band participates in a dynamic schedule of concerts, workshops, and outreach initiatives. The ensemble’s work with Harmony Project Phoenix reflects its commitment to accessibility and learning through music.

In 2024, the ASU Wind Bands program earned national recognition, with Wind Ensemble earning The American Prize 2024 second prize in a related category, underscoring the program’s national prominence. The 2025 season promises further performances across the Valley at venues such as Tempe Center for the Arts, ASU Gammage, Chandler Center for the Arts, Galvin Playhouse, Corona del Sol High School, and Nash venues, continuing the tradition of engaging, high-caliber concert experiences.
