The work explores Mi’kmaq identity and trauma through a supernatural thriller lens with fantasy-adventure elements. Filmed in and around Halifax, Nova Scotia, this 81-minute feature blends English, Mi’kmaq, and French dialogue to tell a resonant story about culture, memory, and resilience. The project is distributed in Canada by VVS Films with world sales handled by Magnify. A true collaboration, the film has earned recognition across festivals and awards, and it’s building momentum for a touring presence across North America and beyond.
