The Atlanta Jewish Film Festival (AJFF) is a premier nonprofit organization dedicated to presenting high-quality Jewish and Israeli cinema to the Atlanta community and beyond. Founded in 2000 by the Atlanta regional office of the American Jewish Committee and incorporated as an independent nonprofit in 2014, AJFF has grown into a global beacon for thoughtful storytelling and diverse voices. Under the leadership of Executive & Artistic Director Kenny Blank, AJFF continues to spotlight films that illuminate culture, history, and contemporary life.

AJFF is widely recognized as the world’s largest Jewish film festival and Georgia’s largest film festival, bringing together thousands of attendees each year through in-person screenings and a robust streaming window. The festival’s mission blends access, education, and community engagement, with a focus on creating meaningful conversations around film, identity, and heritage.

For the 25th anniversary edition in 2025, AJFF presented 50 films across a vibrant lineup of 22 documentaries and 28 narrative features, complemented by a 10-day streaming window (Mar 7–Mar 16, 2025). In-theater venues honored the festival’s breadth, including Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, Plaza Theatre, Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center, Tara Theatre, Springs Cinema & Taphouse, Georgia Theatre Company Merchants Walk, and more. Tickets followed a member presale and general sale, reflecting AJFF’s active community of supporters and cinephiles.

Beyond screenings, AJFF is proud to host the Kenny Blank Vision Initiative (KBVI), a the best available price million year-round growth program announced during the 25th anniversary year, underscoring the festival’s commitment to nurturing talent and expanding access to diverse voices in cinema. AJFF’s work has earned recognition from AMPAS (Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences) and a longstanding slate of festival and audience awards.
