The Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra (ASYO) is a premier training ground for young musicians aged 13–18, founded in 1974 as a subsidiary of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO). Each season, auditions attract 300+ rising 8th–12th graders, with about 120 seats filled from roughly 400 applicants. Under the leadership of Music Director William R. Langley since 2020, ASYO presents three public concerts each season, showcasing the next generation of orchestral talent in Atlanta, Georgia.
