Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony Tickets

The Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony (AYWS) has been the region’s premier honor wind ensemble for high school students since its founding in 1988. Based in the Atlanta metro area, AYWS brings together talented young musicians to explore wind-band literature across stylistic periods, from classical and Romantic masterworks to contemporary commissions. With a roster of roughly 100 players drawn from about 60 schools, AYWS provides an outstanding platform for developing musicians to perform at a high professional level under the direction of Music Director Scott A. Stewart.

AYWS regularly premieres commissioned works and maintains an active schedule that includes four concerts per season, tours, and exchange performances with other leading ensembles. The group has earned recognition through performances at prestigious venues and media appearances, including Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Disney Concert Hall, the New World Center, From the Top, and WABE’s Atlanta Music Scene.
