AT&T National began in 2007 as a PGA TOUR event hosted by Tiger Woods at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland. Initially supported by the AT&T brand and the Tiger Woods Foundation, the tournament quickly became a staple of the Fourth of July weekend in the greater Washington, D.C. area. Over the years, sponsorship changes led to the event being renamed Quicken Loans National in 2011, continuing the legacy of philanthropy and top-tier golf in the region. The final edition took place in 2018, with Francesco Molinari earning the championship. While there are no active 2025 tour dates or venues for AT&T National, its impact on the sport and its charitable contributions remain a notable chapter in golf history.
