Adjuah, and Xian Adjuah—has redefined what jazz can be. A visionary trumpeter, composer, and vocalist, Adjuuhah originated Stretch Music, an expansive approach that blends jazz with diverse cultural rhythms and languages. He is also the inventor of Adjuah’s Bow and other extended brass instruments, including the Reverse Flugel/Adjuah Trumpet, the Siren, and the Sirenette. His work is marked by fearless experimentation, technical mastery, and a commitment to hearing jazz as a living language that travels beyond borders.
