Auschwitz. Not Long Ago. Not Far Away. is a powerful artistic and educational project created by Musealia in collaboration with the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum. Curated by renowned scholars Robert Jan van Pelt, Michael Berenbaum, and Paul Salmons, the exhibition brings together more than 500 original artifacts from the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial Museum, complemented by loans from 20+ institutions. This Canadian and American tour spotlights survivor testimonies, critical historical documents, and memory education—designed to engage visitors with clarity, empathy, and historical context.
