Founded in 2001 as a charter member of the Independent Women’s Football League (IWFL), they immediately made their mark by winning the first IWFL championship in 2001. After moving to the NWFA in 2002, the team continued to grow, eventually joining the Women’s Football Alliance (WFA), where they compete as of 2025. 2025 marks the Outlaws’ 25th anniversary, a milestone celebrated by the team, fans, and the Austin community.
