Axis Mundi is a Groningen-born performer collective forging heavy, dark soundscapes with a lineup that has evolved since their 2016 inception. From their self-titled 2018 EP to their spellbinding live shows, Axis Mundi blends intense rhythms with atmospheric layers, evolving after the departure of original female vocalist Linda Dijkshoorn to sharpen their heavier direction. Their first full-length album, The Sickening Symphony, arrived in 2022 with a release party at Vera in Groningen. The project continues to push boundaries with new material and live performances across the Netherlands.
