Bach Collegium San Diego Tickets

Founded in 2003 by Artistic Director Ruben Valenzuela, Bach Collegium San Diego is a dedicated period-instrument ensemble based in San Diego, California. Known for intimate, historically informed performances, the group brings Bach, Handel, and related composers to life with precision, warmth, and a fresh sense of discovery. The ensemble serves as Ensemble-in-Residence at All Souls' Episcopal Church in Point Loma and collaborates with prominent venues like La Jolla Music Society for ongoing residencies.

As a dynamic contributor to the Southern California classical scene, the Bach Collegium San Diego regularly presents concerts, recording projects, and touring programs that highlight the depths of Baroque repertoire while expanding audience access to early music.

Upcoming season highlights include major works such as When in Rome, Handel’s Messiah, Mass in B minor, and Far Beyond the Skies. A key focus is the El Mesías project—Handel’s Messiah for a New World, with anticipated recording in November 2025 and a release in 2026. The ensemble also has notable 2025–26 residencies with the La Jolla Music Society at The Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center, underscoring a strong commitment to both community engagement and ambitious recording initiatives. 2025–date touring features Handel’s Messiah performances in Santa Monica (December 5, 2025), La Jolla (December 6, 2025), and San Diego (December 7, 2025).
